The two-day conferences will include lectures by David Gitlitz and Linda Davidson, University of Rhode Island and Antonio Momplet MÃguez, Universidad Complutense, Madrid. Select papers by others will be eligible for the the Sewanee Medieval Colloquium Prize, awarded for the best paper by a graduate student or recent PhD recipient.

Coordinators have announced that "Pilgrimage in the Middle Ages" will be the theme for the Sewanee Medieval Colloquium to be held April 9-10, 2010 at the university of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.
