14th Century Jewish Scroll Recovered

Daily News: A 14th-century kabbalistic manuscript, stolen by the Nazis during World War II, has been recovered and presented to the Jewish Community Organization of Vienna. A rare Jewish manuscript is destined to become the property of the Kultusgemeinde Library in Vienna. Stolen in 1938 by the Nazis, the 14th century scroll has been valued at more than US$68,000. The work was one of 625 taken during a two-day period just before the second World War, and it is one of only six recovered to date.
