Shard Laughlin, Pennsic Merchant, Dies After Fall

Shard Laughlin, merchant and member of the SCA, died November 9, 2003 at the age of 35 in the Chicago area after a fall from a ladder. Lady Hrosvitha von Celle reported recently the sad news that Shard Laughlin, owner of SwordMoon Productions, died at the age of 35 after a fall from a ladder. Shard was well known in the SCA as a performer and fine craftsman of leatherwork. He is survived by his wife Sarah and two children Wolfgang and Zoephia. A memorial service was held November 23, at the American Legion Hall in River Grove, IL.
