So it's the middle of the winter and you've been cooped up drinking mead by the fire, telling the same war stories since August. We have the solution… make some new ones! Northern Outpost is proud to host its 13th annual Winter War! Knock the rust off your armour, dust off your bow, polish up your rapier, and come join us! Last year we had fighters from Ealdormere and Aethelmearc, so you may get to test your prowess against, and fight beside, people you normally wouldn't.

Our fantastic site allows for combat archery… indoors! Space is also set aside for rapier fighting, and there will be a full slate of classes for the academically inclined. There is no feast, but as usual there will be a hearty dayboard.

Anyone with a class they wish to teach, contact the autocrat to see about scheduling time/space.

Directions:
From Warrensburg and points South: Follow I-87 (Northway) to Exit 23. Take rt. 9 north to rt. 28. Take rt. 28 to rt. 30. Take rt. 30 to rt. 3. Take rt. 3 to rt. 56. The SUNY Potsdam campus will be on your right.

From the East and Southeast: Take best route to State Route 11 west, follow Rt. 11 into Potsdam.

From Montreal: Take rt. 401 to Cornwall take bridge to USA onto rt. 37 west to Massena. Take rt. 56 south to Potsdam.

From Ottawa: Take the 416 South to the border, once in Ogdensburg, follow 37 west to route 68 south into Canton. In Canton, 68 will become Rt. 11 north follow this into Potsdam.

From Watertown and South: Follow Rt. 81 to Watertown take Rt. 11 to Potsdam.

Once in Potsdam, NY please follow the SCA signs.
