There will be heavy and rapier fighting tournaments. Competitors shall fight in a Challenger's tourney for the right to best the Armored Combat Chalice Champion or the Rapier Chalice Champion. The winner of each of the "Champion Battles" shall become the Chalice Champion in their discipline, and may fight as Chalice Champion next year. There will be Chalice performance and static A&S competitions. The theme for both is anything that relates to the history of Leda and her children. Twins, swans, evening stars, you name it, as long as it relates to any of the parts of the story, it's valid.
Performance Chalice Competition:
Performers shall compete in a Challengers Competition for the right to face the Chalice Performers*. The winner of that face-off becomes Chalice Performer, and may compete under the title next year. Each Performer should have 2 pieces prepared, one of which shall be in period style documented. Artisans shall compete in a Challengers Competition for the right to face the current Chalice Artisan. The winner of that competition shall become Chalice Artisan, and may compete under the title next year. There will be a target archery competition. Competitors will compete in a Challengers Shoot for the right to face the current Chalice Archer. Youth Combat, Youth Archery and Youth Rapier:
Like last year, youth combat and youth rapier will be featured, and the winners of each category will earn the right to face the current Youth Chalice Champion in their category and become the new Youth Chalice Armored Champion or Youth Chalice Rapier Champion. Also, for the first time we will have a youth archery tournament to compete for the title of Youth Chalice Archery Champion.

Team Competition for the Chalice of the Sun God:
Teams must register before 11 am on the day of the tourneys to compete for the Chalice of the Sun God. Teams must field a single participant in at least 4 of the 5 Chalice disciplines (Bardic, Artisan, Heavy, Rapier, Archery). In addition to the adult categories, each team may include one youth combat, and/or one youth archer, and/or one youth rapier fighter. A bonus point per youth combat, youth rapier, and/or youth archer will be awarded to teams who include them (one point per youth). No team shall feature more than three youth combatants, one rapier, one archer, one armored. If the youth wins the title of Chalice Youth Armored Champion, Chalice Youth Archer, or Chalice Youth Rapier Champion, an additional bonus point will be awarded to the team. Each participant shall receive points based on participation and performance. The team with the highest score shall win the Chalice of the Sun God. To register a team, contact the Autocrat. You must include the names of your team members, their disciplines, and the team name.

A sumptuous feast shall be prepared by the Ponte Alto Cooks Guild, lead by Lord Lord Brénainn MacShuibne (mtorsky AT hotmail.com). Space is limited to 60, so get those reservations in early! Dietary concerns should be directed to the head cook.
Prince William Forest Park, Triangle, VA, Camps 1& 4. Restrictions: No pointed weapons. No pets. No tent camping (cabins only). No open flame. The site is WET, no original containers. Cabins have showers, bathrooms, and beds (bring your own bedding). Cars are not permitted in the cabin areas. Handicap accessible. All cabins must be vacated by 10 am Sunday morning.

Take your best route to I-95 in VA. Exit at VA-234 headed towards Manassas (Exit 152B to VA-234). You will see a Travel Trailer City sign on you left. YOUR NEXT LEFT WILL BE FOR CAMPS 1&4. When you turn, follow the signs for Camp 1 entrance. Via Mapquest, enter the intersection of "Pleasant Rd & Dumfries Rd" in Montclair, VA 22205. This is the entrance to Camp 1.
