The British Library: The British Library announces an exhibition of Flemish manuscripts at the Royal Academy of Arts, London, starting November 29, 2003. The online exhibit, "Illuminating the Renaissance-The Triumph of Flemish Manuscript Painting in Europe", couples pages of Flemish illumination with a timeline highlighting important events in European history from 1400 to 1550. Twenty-eight images have been selected by curator Dr Scot McKendrick to focus attention on lesser known iluminations which are equal in quality to the "Tres Riches Heures" of John, Duke of Berry.
