2009 William Blackfox Awards announced

Herr Otto von Schwyz, SCA Society Chronicler, has announced the winners of the 2009 William Blackfox Awards, honors given annually for excellence in newsletter content and design.

Herr Otto writes:

Greetings,

This is one of the jobs of the Society Chronicler that I truly enjoy. This year I have added the “Most Improved” category. This award is judged from seeing where the chronicler has started and with steady improvement to the end of the year. Again, the “Best Electronic Layout” has been merged with “Best Layout and Design” category. I would like to thank all of the Kingdom Chroniclers for all of the hard work that they put into the newsletters, developing new talent, and administration of the job on the whole. It is truly a thankless job, if you are doing your job well, no one thinks about it and when it isn’t going well, you are known by all.

Listed below are the winners and the commended for each category. Enclosed is a URL link for the entry, if there isn’t an link the entry was submitted by hard copy only. A complete list of the nominees can be located at on the Society Chronicler's webpage.

Congratulations to the winners,

Herr Otto von Schwyz
Society Chronicler
