The Winchester Troper is a small volume physically, but it is noteworthy because it has enlightened musical scholars about the birth of polyphonic musical notation in Anglo-Saxon times. Prior to the discovery of the Troper, two-part harmonies were thought to have not appeared in manuscripts until the 1200s. The podcast includes interviews with Professor Susan Rankin and the French performer Dominique Vellard.
According to the web site, the podcast will be available until approximately August 22.
