Medieval Skeletons Discovered at Llandaff Cathedral

Recent excavations around Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff, Wales have unearthed fourteen skeletons believed to be from medieval times. A construction project to create a disabled entrance to Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff, Wales has led to the discovery of fourteen medieval skeletons. Archaeologists were not surprised by the find, which was made in an area of the graveyard, nor by the shallowness of the graves, a practice common in medieval times.

The remains have been taken for study to the Cambrian Archaeological Project's headquarters in Llanidloes. Once returned, they will be reburied at the Cathedral.
