Archaeologists have unearthed a fourth century Roman well in Worcester, England
at a construction site for a new footpath.
Artifacts discovered in an excavated Roman well prove that it dates from around
380 CE, say archaeologists who investiagted the structure. The well was
discovered at a construction site in the city of Worcester, England, and is the
only complete Roman structure to be found in the area. The well has now been
refilled in order to build a footpath on the site.
