Utah kids follow “path to knighthood” at Ren Faire fundraiser

It was a fun trip to the past recently for kids in Logan, Utah as members of the local SCA group helped them learn about chivalry. The event was a fundraiser for the Whittier Center, where the group holds its meetings. David Felix of the Herald Journal reports.

In order to achieve knighthood, participants were placed on a "path to knighthood" and required to learn sword and catapult warfare, among more courtly values. “It was fun because we got to do marshmallow crossbows and sword fight people in robes,” Sir Jessica said.
