About 25 shire members turned out to demonstrate what the SCA was all about by displaying their crafts and books, and being available to answer questions from the public. And yes, they provided a fighting demo too. "When I saw the tents and the fighting and the chivalry and all the fun they were having, I just knew I wanted to be a part of that," said Midewinde Seneschal Travis Andersen about his own introduction to the SCA.
