Atenveldt Seneschal Asks Help in Locating Stolen Regalia

Duchess Katerina O'Callaghan, Atenveldt Kingdom Seneschal, sends an open letter to the populace of the Known World asking for your assistance in finding the stolen regalia. Duchess Katerina O'Callaghan writes:

GREETINGS UNTO THE GENTLE POPULACE OF THE SCA!!!

It is with great sadness that the Kingdom of Atenveldt lets it be known that in October 2003 a burglary occurred in our fair land, and several cherished pieces of Kingdom regalia and other personal belongings were stolen from TRM Erick and Nichelle. These included the Crown of the King of Atenveldt, the King's Signet ring, King and Queen's banners, and King's Blood (the Atenveldt Sword of State) along with it's jewel embedded leather scabbard.

While we know that the fine artisans of our Current Middle Ages can replace the items, we also know the long tradition and great meaning the stolen items hold in the Hearts of Atenveldt. So we would very much like to recover the things that were taken.

We would therefore ask that you view the items on our Kingdom Website http://www.atenveldt.com/stolen_regalia/ , and contact the Kingdom Regalia Officer, the Kingdom Seneschal, and Duke Erick von Stroud (contact info is on the same page) if you come across any of these items in your travels.

Please repost this to as many SCA lists as possible.
