Beowulf meets Alien in "Outlander"

The Outlander, a film released in January 2009, follows the wreck of an alien space craft in 8th century Norway, releasing a futuristic soldier and a bloodthirsty monster into the Viking world. The trailer is available on YouTube. (video)

The medieval adventure film stars James Caviezel as the soldier and Ron Perlman as Gunnar. It combines ancient Iron Age weapons with space age technology.

The most disappointing movie I have ever seen...

Approximately four years ago, I sent many several dozen yards of trim to Nova Scotia for the wardrobe department of this movie. I watched the movie closely, yet saw none of my trim onscreen.
