Frames for the re-enactor

Historical re-enactors who worry about the appearance of their non-historical eyewear will want to visit Period Glasses, a company that specializes in frames from medieval times until the 20th century.

The frames are made of brass and may be fitted with modern plastic optical glass. The genius behind the frames (literally) is Trevor Timms, who is himself a reenactor.

Period Glasses also makes magnifiying glasses and other specialty optics.
