He was unconscious for nearly two hours after falling from his horse. Although he recovered consciousness, he was a changed man after the accident, according to a History Channel documentary, "Inside the Body of Henry VIII." Once universally admired for his handsomeness, charm and athleticism, he became a paranoid, violent tyrant.
