New book on Tudor men's garb announced

Fat Goose Press has announced the recent publication of a new book on men's garb at the time of King Henry VIII. The book, The King's Servants: Men's Dress at the Accession of Henry VIII, was authored by Caroline Johnson.

The 48-page book includes color illustrations and features patterns for "shirts, doublet, hose, coat, jacket and hat with advice on appropriate fabrics and comprehensive making instructions." The book may be purchased on the Tudor Tailor website.
