Digital Canterbury Tales

In celebration of the anniversary of Chaucer's death, the two earliest version of the "Canterbury Tales" have been digitized and are now available online. Twenty-four short stories written between 1387 and 1400 are still a popular read worldwide. Now two digitized versions of The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer are available online. The British Library project allows researchers to study not only the early editions of the work but also how printing techniques developed.
