Polish re-enactor tour

Eryk Jadaszewski reports that an Husaria Tour of Poland will take place August 11 - 24, 2009, and will include "participation in the Vivat Vasa event held annually at the 800 year old Gniew Castle."

Eryk Jadaszewski writes:

This historical and entertaining tour focuses on 'Polish winged hussar' related sites, armor collections, battlefields and castles. We will also see the major tourist destinations across the country and the highlight of the tour being our participation in the Vivat Vasa event held annually at the 800 year old Gniew Castle.

Those with kits may participate in the re-enactment but it is not mandatory. The ground tour price includes 2 great Polish meals a day, admission into attractions, sites and events, transportation by air conditioned motor coach, local guides and first class accommodations.

You will be responsible for 1 meal a day, any laundry, snacks, souvenirs and tipping of drivers and guides at the end of the tour. Price doesn't include airfare but Mary at PAT Tours can get you the best deals on flights to Poland, contact her at 1800 388 0988.

The food is great, the Poles like Americans and are very hospitable plus you'll be with folks with the same interests as you so I know you'll have a great time.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I hope you will consider joining us for the tour.
