[ATE] Mixed Weapons War

Did Estrella War leave you craving more combat? Did you not get to play with any new weapon styles? Join the Barony of SunDragon at Mixed Weapons War.

Saturday court will begin roughly around 9 a.m. to start the festivities. There will be plenty of Armored Combat, Rapier Combat, Youth Combat, and Archery.

We will welcome back CinderGepa with her Combat Stitchery. Along with the traditional Saturday Night Pot-Luck Feast at 5 p.m. there will be will be a lottery ticket drawing for the Kon Hawke Tournament participants and the auction will be held during the feast. A new twist which sounds like a lot of fun.

At 8 p.m. the Barony will be defending the title of “League Champions” in our annual torchlight “Jugger Tourney”. Between rounds of the tourney bards are invited to perform pieces for the populous.

Sunday morning “House Manor Rose” will be sponsoring their delicious pancake breakfast. Court will follow around 9a.m. with our annual Kon Hawke Tourney to follow.

And just when you thought you had enough fighting Lord Colum has promised an Insane Resurrection Grande Melee. Closing court will take place once everyone is totally exhausted!!!!

Where will this fun be?
Buckeye Equestrian Center in Buckeye, AZ 10300 South Miller Road. This is private property within the city limits of Buckeye AZ.

Take Interstate 10 west to Miller Road (exit 114). This is about 6 miles west of the Estrella Parkway exit. Go south on Miller Road approximately 6.5 miles to the end and make a right.

From Kingdom lands south of Granholme or from Burning Sands,take State Route 85 north from Gila Bend. Take Hazen Road east (approx. three miles south of Buckeye), till it ends at South Miller Road and go right. Buckeye Equestrian Center is located on the SW corner of Hazen and Miller.

Site will open at 3 pm on Friday and closes on Sunday at 6 pm.
Site fee is $15.00 for adults and kids under 18 are FREE!!!
As always there is a $3.00 surcharge for non-members.

The Site is wet, no glass containers, and pets must be on leashes. SCA curfew rules will be enforced.

There is plenty of grass for ALL activities and camping. Above ground fire pits must be a minimum of 12 inches above ground and a ground shield is required.
