You are cordially invited to an Elizabethan Faire to be hosted by the Marche of Tirnewydd in the Barony of Middle Marches. This event shall be held on June 6th AS XLIV (2009), and shall consist of grand tournaments in heavy weapons, rapier, archery, and the arts & sciences. Additionally, there shall be numerous Elizabethan-themed courses of instruction, games, children's activities, and much dancing and merriment!

We will be forgoing the traditional feast and instead hosting an Elizabethan picnic. Those who partake will receive a picnic basket filled with all sorts of wonderous delicacies from Elizabeth's time (a certain number of vegetarian alternatives will be made available), so that you may enjoy a respite while still watching the various activities. In addition to the picnic, there will be a Banquet of Diverse Sweets (part of the overall feast ticket,) to be held shortly before Court.

We will have a website for the event up within the next week which will have more detailed information on activies, feast menu, etc, as well as information for pre-registration.
