[EAS] Feast of the Fools

Take note that on February 7, 2009, in the middle of the carnival period, will be held on the lands of Bois Ardent (in Trois-Rivieres), the second edition of The Feast of the Fools*. Bring your jingle bells, your masks, your colorful costumes, your inner silliness and your sense of humor in order to give a magical tone to this event. Games of skill and known activities from the A & S of the SCA will be part of the program. Around the end of the afternoon, a Court of the Fools will be held and a prize will be awarded to the gentle who will have earned the title of Fool of the Year.

For SCA members, the access fees are 15 $ CAN. and 18 $ CAN. for non members. Access is free for children of 10 years old and younger.

We ask the participants to bring their food since there will be no feast at this event. *The Feast of the Fools* is meant as a "pot luck" event type. However, members of the Prieur? St-Fran?ois des Bois and of the Bois Ardent will serve you a hearthy soup, worthy of their cooking skill.

Reserve your place early for *The Feast of the Fools*, for the event site is limited to 80 people. Know that the event itself will be held in the St-Francois hall, located in the *basement of the Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Allegresses church (in front of the Super C market, on St-Maurice boulevard), at 1285, Saint-Francois-Xavier street, Trois-Rivieres (Quebec) G9A 1J4, Canada*.
