Archaeologists ponder Pagan mosaic found under cathedral

Three mosaics of tiny tiles, featuring naked people possibly performing pagan rituals, have been unearthed underneath the Cathedral of Reggio Emilia in Italy.

The mosaics are still fragments, and archaeologists are stumped as to their meaning. The mosaic might have been a floor of a wealthy Roman's home. A link to a slide-show of the mosaics is available at the full article.
