Heather Dale listed as "best holiday gift 2008"

Canadian folk singer -- and SCA member -- Heather Dale was recently mentioned as a Staff Pick for the Onion's A.V. Club "Best holiday gifts 2008."

Dale's new CD, "The Gabriel Hounds," was listed by Tasha Robinson as one of her favorites. Robinson, who receives many freebies throughout the year, included the disc in her list of "obscure but beloved things that I know are too nichey for coverage here, and are generally from micro-press outfits that can't afford handouts to grabby critics anyway."
