What is the Inspiration for this event?
Circa 1460 Venice, Italy. Based on the bridge battles of the time in which the populace would gather to watch groups of combatants armed with wooden weapons contest for mastery of the bridges over the canals. Martial activities will be based on 5 man melee teams for bridge combat. The populace will also be involved as they will be assigned a faction to be a part of and to cheer for the day. The Atmosphere of the Event

The hall will be decorated as an area of Venice creating a pleasant place for the populace to gather to shop and eat. An area will be provided for bardic performances throughout the day. We will be creating enclosed spaces for class rooms. In lieu of a feast we will be serving a side board of hot dishes served buffet style along with live music and dancing throughout the evening.
