Labour Party blamed for England's crumbling treasures

Macer Hall, Political Editor of the Daily News reports that England's Labour Party is being blamed for the sorry state of many of Britain's historic buildings and sites, some of which are considered “at risk” by experts.

Included in the list of "at risk" sites are Hadrian’s Wall and the 1066 Battle of Stamford Bridge. Torie Party leaders contend that England's heritage sites are "being left to rot because Labour ministers have raided National Lottery cash for pet projects rather than preserving the past."
