The whereabouts of the ship has long been shrouded in legend, but Sir Torquhil Ian Campbell, the 13th Duke of Argyll, is now leading a new effort to find the booty. Caught in a violent storm that sank much of the Spanish Armada, the ship supposedly held the bankroll for the army including gold and jewels. "Nothing has been found yet, but the investigation is in its very early stages," said Alison Brockway, a spokeswoman for the Duke of Argyll, whose ancestral home is Inveraray Castle.
