Ealdormere Golden Seamstress Competition

Fabric artists of Ealdormere are invited to compete in the Golden Seamstress Competition to be held April 9-10, 2004 in Hamilton, Ontario. THL Mauvrneen MacKellar writes:

Greetings to all from THL Mauvrneen MacKellar, Organizer for the 1st Ealdormerean 'Golden Seamstress' Competition.

A few requests have been made to have the rules passed around, so I figured this is a good place to start. :) (Please feel free to post this information on any other list.)

Here's what you need to know for now:

EALDORMERE'S FIRST 'GOLDEN SEAMSTRESS' COMPETITION

April 9-10, 2004
All Saint's Church
15 Queen St. S.
Hamilton, ON
Site open for competitors and judges 9PM Friday
Site open for spectators 12 noon Saturday
Site closes at 8PM Saturday

Gate Fees:
* competitors $20 (this $20 includes your site fee, food and beverages all night, a hot breakfast in the morning and lunch on Saturday)
* spectators $5

The Rules

Novice Seamstresses:
* Patterns may be drafted in advance or you may use commercial patterns.
* Complicated underwear or accessories (hats, buttons, shoes, corsets, bumrolls) may be made in advance or purchased
* No member of the team can have won a previous Golden Seamstress competition.
* All Other Rules Apply!

Advanced Seamstresses:
* The Team
* Maximum number of team members
