Radio station's Halloween special features SCA musicians

Radio host Melinda LaFevers, known in the SCA as Melandra of the Woods, hosts a weekly folk music show on radio station KVHU, sponsored by Harding University. This week's show will feature the talents of several "current and former SCA bards" and will be broadcast on the web as well as on the air.

Lady Melandra writes that her Halloween special "will have a few current and former SCA bards on it, including Bedlam Bards, Wild Oats, Joe Bethancourt, and Baroness Alina.... [It] airs at noon on Saturdays, Central time (that would be 10:00 in Caid)."

The broadcast airs locally on KVHU 95.3 MHz FM but is also available worldwide via realtime webcast (see the "original article" link below). Unfortunately, the webcast is available only in Windows Media format, so non-Windows computers may not be able to receive it.

SCA musicians also figure in Lady Melandra's future plans. She says, "In December, I'm currently planning to air a show that will be primarily SCA musicians, and at least one more after Thanksgiving that will be all Christmas themed music.
