[EAS] Fall Crown Tournament

On the twenty-fifth day of October A.S. XLIII, King Darius IV and Queen Alethea will be choosing Their Heirs by right of arms.

The event site is a camp ground with acres of woods and a tranquil lake. The tournament will be held in a large grassy field lined with trees. A field adjacent to the tourney field has a large fire circle, an open-sided pavilion with fire hearth and another smaller grassy area. Privies are located throughout the site. Hot showers are available as well, near the list field. All buildings are wheelchair accessible, but the trail from the list field to the feast hall is very hilly and may not be easy for wheelchairs (but there is a road that can be used).

For ease of arrival, separate Troll lines will be available for entrants and their consorts and preregistered gentles.

Please preregister if you desire a seat at feast, as the seating is limited. The tables are 6 feet long and rectangular, with benches along the long sides and chairs on the ends. The feast hall has a lovely stone hearth in case the day's weather is chill or wet.

5:00pm? Court begins - exact time is at the discretion of TRM
6:30pm? Feast begins - when Court is finished, room changes over

10:00am - 10:30am Division 1
10:30am - 11:15am Division 2
11:15am - 12:00am Division 3

*There is no camping on site.

*All fires MUST be in raised fire pits or existing site fire circles. NO digging is allowed on site! Down wood is scavagable from the surrounding woods.

*Pets are welcome as long as NYS laws are followed (leashed and picked up after).

Interstate 87/I-87/Adirondack Northway begins north of Albany, NY and continues to the Canadian border north of Plattsburgh, NY. Please be aware that the interstate south of Albany, NY is a different road but the exits are numbered similarly. Please double check your directions!

If coming from northern New York/Canada, please take your best route to I-87 and use exit 21. Turn right off the exit ramp.**

If coming from southern NY/southern VT/NJ/MA, please take your best route to I-87 and use exit 21. Turn left off the exit ramp.**

If coming from northern VT/NH/ME please take your best route to Rt4 to Rt 149 to I-87. Turn north on I-87 to exit 21. Turn left off the exit ramp.**

**Follow Rt 9N south 2.8 miles. Look for the green and white SCA signs. The Hidden Lake Camp entrance is on the right. Parking is in the lot near the road.

!!Upon arrival, please unload your gear and move your vehicle to the parking area before setting up.
