Thanks to Two Seas for stepping up and offering to give the project a kick start, the Regional Garb Workshop is up and running again!
This is the perfect opportunity to get started with or put the finishing touches on your winter garb, get some creative ideas on future projects, get help with sewing/embroidery techniques, or just have some company to chat with while you work on your garb.
It will take place on October 11, 2008 in Hamburg. The workshop area is really great: it's well lit, there's tons of space, and the shire is offering the use of several sewing machines and an iron. Also, there will be flip charts :-) A table will be provided for textile related books, so if you have some, please bring a few with you for everyone to use for ideas and inspiration. Food will be provided, as will crash space.
The site is easily reachable by train/U-bahn and by car.
As always, this is a free workshop, but donations to cover food costs are very welcome.
For directions and other information, and to let the shire know you're coming (important for food planning!), please contact Lady Katherina Mornewegh at
Shire of the Two Seas (Hamburg, Germany)
