The Barony of One Thousand Eyes sends greetings to one and all! Long have men searched throughout the ages to find the secrets of turning base and raw objects into objects of renowned beauty. Nowhere is this skill more evident than in the artisans of the Barony of One Thousand Eyes. This skill is especially exhibited in those who hold the coveted title of Baronial Arts & Sciences Champion.
It is with pleasure that I, Mistress Osondrea, may announce the next grand competition for this baronial honor. Therefore, all are invited to join in the competition, classes or just to come look at the beautiful works of the populace. This year's competition will be one entry in a grand category, but more entries guarantee better odds because your best score will be your final score. Documentation is not required but will increase your scoring. The site is the York Grange. This is a dry site so please no brewing entries.
In addition to the Arts & Sciences competition, there will also be a tourney to choose the new Baronial Youth Champion. All youth are invited to participate in the tourney, however, the winner and champion must be a resident of the Barony.
Site fee will be $5.00 with a $3.00 surcharge for nonmembers. Feast fee will be $8.00. Prepaid feast reservations are due by September 10th. Feast reservations can be sent to Lady Helen. Make checks payable to the Barony of One Thousand Eyes, SCA, Inc.
Site will open at 10:00 p.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.
Directions: Take your best route to I-15, take exit 113, go east until you reach the traffic light. Go straight at the light onto 65th S. (York Road). The York Grange is approximately 1.3 miles from the light on the north (left) side of the road.
