Middle Ages re-enactors practice medieval battle techniques

Down by the river bend, a man with a notepad and a tape recorder stands by while watching two warriors engaged in fierce combat. Casey Phillips of the Chattanooga Times Free Press was there to record the story.

"As they maneuver into position for their opening attacks, the armor of Lord Owen Arbalista and Baltasar Demetri jingles and clanks. Behind the slits of their helmets, their faces appear grim."

The scene was a fighter practice at Chattanooga Riverpark for the Shire of Vulpine Reach in the Kingdom of Meridies.
