Is Pennsic out of your realm of financial possibilities? Instead of going East, why not go North? The Shire of Plattefordham offers you a last chance to slaughter to your heart's content before the summer ends. Hardsuiters, archers, fencers, litter the ground w/ your dead ("Wait, I'm not dead!")! Bards, slay the audience w/ your clever tongues! There will be torchlight tourney, a ford battle, a castle battle (we have an archer's tower...), and so much more! Bring the kiddies -- we have a playground!
And when exhaustion takes you, there will be a feast
Site is discretely wet. Merchants and anyone interested in teaching a class, please contact the autocrats, Lord Balthazar and Lady Enneleyn von Knopf firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com
There will be an auction to benefit the kingdom travel fund. Please contact Catriona inghean Fhearadhaigh firstname.lastname@example.org if you have items you would like to donate. Event is out doors, so keep in mind rain/wind/dust exposure (include card w/ name, group, and brief description of materials/ingredients and any other documentation you feel is pertinent). Pictures of items donated will soon be available on the shire website, and notices will be posted as more items are added.
