Leaning Tower of Pisa extends warranty for another 300 years

Engineers studying Pisa's famous Leaning Tower feel that the structure has been saved for another 300 years thanks to a UKĀ£20 million restoration project.

The tower was straightened by 14.5 inches (37 cm) to stabilize it in the recent conservation effort, which was so successful that the city plans to re-open the building for tourists.
