[AET] Year End Tournament II

A call goes out across the Endless Hills for warriors to gather together again to fight for the glory of battle. Our Year End Tournament is April 26th, 2008. The event will be held at Moon Lake Park, 196 Moon Lake Road, Hunlock Creek Pa. 18621. The day’s activities include heavy weapon and fencing tournaments, mock wood’s battles, thrown weapons, archery, children’s events and an A&S competition.

The Baronial Champion for Heavy, Thrown Weapons and Archery will be chosen at this event. The A&S Champion will also be chosen—and the winner will be expected to participate in the 7 Pearls A&S competition at Melee Madness—so come with your best endeavors!

The site opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. The site is discreetly damp. Dogs on leashes and contained fires are allowed. The park is a totally outdoor event, so day shades are encouraged. An all day lunch board is included in the site fee. There is no feast. Please contact the feast-o-crat Lord Anton Ivan Stauslovich (Eric Bruzgulis, ebruzgulis@yahoo.com) with any allergy or dietary concerns. The site fees are as follows: Adults are $10.00 a person, Teenagers (13-17) are $7.00 a person, Children (6-12) are $5.00 a person and Infants (under 6) are free. Please send reservations by April 12th to Lady Juliana Woolworth (Mary-Frances Rigelwood, empress_mary@hotmail.com). Make checks payable to SCA, Inc. - Barony of Endless Hills. A $3 NMS fee will be collected from all non-members at the event.

Directions: From all locations please take your best route to Interstate 81. Take exit 164 which is the Nanticoke-Route 29-US Route 11 exit. Follow this road until you pass all of the exits and come to a Y intersection. Stay in the left hand lane and follow the ramp. You will come to a stop sign and continue to go straight. Go through the traffic light and continue down the road until you see signs for Route 29. Turn right onto Route 29-Mill Street. Continue down this road; it is very windy so please do not speed. Once you see a water treatment tank on your left and a huge lake on your right, please slow down. At the top of the hill you will see a very large sign that says Moon Lake Park. Turn left at the sign (Moon Lake Park Road) and go up the hill.
