Barony of Stonemarche welcomes newest Eastrealm subject

Mistress Fia Kareman and Lord Matthew Moraveous Avdenmork joyfully announce the birth of their son, Galen Thomas Begnoche, at 8:09 EST on February 29. The family resides in the Barony of Stonemarche, in the East Kingdom.

Galen was 20.5 inches (52 cm) long and weighed 8.0 pounds (3.6 kg) at birth, and mother and baby are both doing quite well.

Mistress Fia remarks, "Due to his birthdate, he is considered a 'leapling' - which is a rare honor. Also, if we have anything to say about it, he will be a valued member of the SCA when he gets older." In an interview with SCAtoday.net, baby Galen said (with a little help from Mom and Dad), "I'M HERE!!! Let the mayhem begin."
