The Other Boleyn Girl "more slog than romp"

"According to this oddly plotted and frantically paced pastiche — written by Peter Morgan, directed by Justin Chadwick — the girls were more or less the Paris and Nicky Hilton of the Tudor court," writes reviewer Manohla Dargis for the New York Times.

The new film tells the story of the two Boleyn sisters and their relationship with the young Henry VIII. It stars Natalie Portman as Anne Boleyn, the bad girl brunette, Scarlett Johansson as Mary, the sweet blonde and Eric Bana as a "brooding and glowering" Henry.
