Yesterday, I was lucky enough to be able to travel to the Shire of Rivenwood Tower to celebrate Lupercalia. This is my third Lupercalia and it certainly won't be my last. Despite the fact that weather in Wisconsin was supposed to turn nasty sometime today, Reinholdt von Trollenhagen and I traveled to the Shire to enjoy a day that included games, fighting, and a wonderful feast. The bunny for the bunny buskashi this year was roadkill bunny (with magnets on it's extremities so it would stick to steel armour) and was as usual a wonderful tournament to watch. Both lunch and feast were plentiful and well-prepared, the atmosphere was jovial, and the laughter was contagious. This has become one of my favourite events around and I hope I can continue to go to it as long as they have it.
My view of the event can be found by clicking on "original article" below.
