[WES] Crosston Dance Ball

Didn't get enough dancing at Twelfth Night? Love to dance and didn't get to Twelfth Night? Never fear! It is time once again for the Crosston Dance Ball!

If you enjoy historical dancing to music made by live musicians, here is your chance to twinkle your toes, flex your feet, nimbly amble, sonorously stamp, and lithely leap.

Saturday 26 January

Doors open at 10 AM
Beginning at 1 PM, there will be dance instruction led by our talented and graceful dance instructors.
At 5 PM we will share a pot-luck feast.
At 6 PM we will feature numerous sets of dances, guided by our numerous dance masters and dance mistresses, to the fine playing of our wonderful live musicians (because dead musicians just aren't as lively).
Site closes at 10 PM

Join us at
St. Mark's Episcopal Church Hall on Pruneridge Av in Santa Clara (near San Jose)

Admission by donation

For this year's pot-luck feast we ask that you bring a dish of enough food for 8. While we prefer you bring period food, sharing the experience is more important, so bring what you like.

If you do want to try your hand at historical food, but are not certain where to start, contact me (e-mail below). I also recommend the west-cooks list for assistance: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/west-cooks

We look forward to seeing you at the Ball!
