See sins, swashbuckling and spice at the Feast of The Seven Deadly Sins as the Barony of Delftwood celebrates the Silk Road on February 16, 2008! Come join us at a site not visited in many years, May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Church in Dewitt, NY, where we will offer you a variety of pleasures from the Near and Far East including a hoffla, a Japanese tea ceremony, a Japanese dayboard, and a Feast starting in China and working westward to Europe through the removes.
There will be as much fencing as can be fit into the day. Fencers, please save your lust-inducing boots for after the tournament and wear shoes with non-marking soles while you spar in a tournament with a Silk Road flair! In addition to the main tournament, there will also be a tournament to determine Delftwood's Baronial Rapier Champion.
This event marks the return of the Den of Iniquity for guests 18 and over where sinful games will happen. There will be family-friendly space for those of a less sinful bent featuring, among other things, a Seven Deadly Sins/Silk Road-themed sotelty competition, and the Baronial Bardic Competition. The site is discretely damp (beer, wine, and mead only; please no hard liquor), so one should never rule out a brewer's roundtable.

The cost is as follows: Site fees for Adults: $7.00, Children 6 – 14: $4.00, Children 5 and under: free. Site fees include dayboard. Feast is an additional fee. Feast for Adults: $7.00, Children 6 – 14: $3.00, Children 5 and under: free. There will be a $3.00 non-member surcharge for all non-discounted fees collected at the door. From the East and West: Take best route to I-90 (NYS Thruway), and get off at exit 34A (I-481). Take I-481South to Exit 3W (Rt 5/92, Dewitt, Shoppingtown Mall). **Proceed on Route 92, West Genesee St. straight, through 2 traffic lights. The church will be on your left approximately 1 mile from the highway. There will be signs.
From the North: Take best route to I-81 to exit 29S (I-481 South). Take I-481 South to exit 3W (Rt 5/92, Dewitt, Shoppingtown Mall). Follow directions from ** above.
