Pennsic Traffic Warning: Radar Hidden in Construction Vehicles

A newspaper article reports that the Pennsylvania State Police, as part of their effort to strictly enforce construction zone speed limits, are hiding speed radars in construction vehicles near work zones. A new Pennsylvania law provides harsh penalties for moving violations in construction work zones. Now a published report claims that over 150 speeding tickets have been issued in the past week, since police began concealing radar instrumentation in construction vehicles as part of Operation Chameleon/Nightcrawler.

Pennsic attendees be warned: Watch your speed carefully when driving in Pennsylvania.
