Puddings & Preserves Exhibit Showcases Elizabethan Cookery

Hampton Court Palace, in London, England, will be the site of the "Puddings & Preserves"
display, September 20-28, 2003.
In the Tudor kitchens of Hampton Court Palace, historians will perform live, costumed
demonstrations of post-harvest food preservation techniques from the time of Henry VIII and his
daughter, Elizabeth I. The recipes used are authentic and documented to the late sixteenth
century.
