Edmund Tregelles, Silver Buccle Herald of AEthelmearc, reports that Their Majesties of the AEthelmearc, Rurik and Elspeth, have announced Their court preferences. In an announcement on the AEthelmearc Kingdom list, Edmund Tregelles Silver Buccle Herald, reported today that Their Majesties of AEthelmearc, Rurik and Elspeth have made known Their preferences regarding court:

"It is the wish of Their Royal Majesties Rurik and Elspeth to ensure that ample time is given to the activities of the day at events on Their Progress. They also want to be certain that receipients of awards have their accomlishments recognized fully during Court. To these ends, Their Majesties would like to make known the following:

* Their Majesties ask that any gentles who wish to have business with the Crown bring it to the attention of Their herald (myself in most cases) by 1:00 pm of the day of the event.
* Their Majesties' intention is to limit the business They conduct during Court to awards and official business of the Kingdom, generally speaking.
* Their Majesties will gratefully receive things such as oaths of fealty or service and personal gifts while sitting in state at events during the day."
