The leaves are beginning to fall, the air is turning brisk, and the daylight lasts just a bit less each day. Soon, the trees will be bare and the chill of winter will fill Meridian hearts. Perhaps we just need a bit of Glad Tydings!
Mark your calendars now for Glad Tydings: A New Year's Celebration, January 5, 2008! Vulpine Reach is throwing an Elizabethan Winter Festival to commemorate our Thirtieth Anniversary and you're invited! Plenty of food to fill the appetite, fellowship with dear friends to warm the heart, music and laughter to cheer the spirit!
At Glad Tydings, you'll find classes on all things Elizabethan, competitions in the games of skill and strategy, an unbelievable all-day banquet of sumptuous delights, and much more! Bards, storytellers, musicians, and the like: Think you have what it takes to bring home the "Gilded Fruitcake of the Merrymaker of Glad Tydings?" More on this competition later! Merchants are welcome and we've got plenty of space! Teachers, we still have class spaces available, just drop us a line!
And the best part is: It's only $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 4-12 (3 and under free)! That's right, all the food, fun, and entertainment is yours with admittance to the event! Not only that, but as a thank you to Meridies for thirty wonderful years, the Shire of Vulpine Reach is donating the proceeds from Glad Tydings to the Kingdom Travel Fund!
