The cold northern winter is near upon us, and from the battlements of the keep at Ile du Dragon Dormant glad tidings are sounded. A message is sent to all the neighboring lands - Ile du Dragon Dormant will again celebrate the last days of fall with a feast of rare kind.
This harvest festival promises to be no simple affair. Mistress Hawise and her staff slave for hours preparing an all day feast, jesters and dancers rehearse to drums and flutes, musicians tune their viols and horns. Off the main hall, seamstresses and brewers strive to finish their labours, to be unencumbered with work when the feast day arrives.
And on the throne Pellandres dit le Frere and Valeria Laskaris sit. They too are awaiting this celebration, but with an an air of uncertainty. For on the approaching feast-day a new Champion will be chosen to keep their lands safe for one year. A steadfast, true, and mighty warrior must be found to succeed Master Conrad Conner MacAllyn.
Come one and all to see the wonders of our ancient days. Be awed by the fierceness of the heavy-list tourney. Revel with us in the various musics, dancings and classes. Learn from our well schooled artisans as they display their works at an A and S competition, and feast at the wondrous table of Mistress Hawise.
