The masterpiece, valued at over US$60 million, was tracked down by Scottish police and national agencies with the help of the public, according to lead investigator, Detective Chief Inspector Mickey Dalgleish.

London police have announced the recovery of Madonna with the Yarnwinder, a painting by Leonardo da Vinci stolen four years ago from Drumlanrig Castle in southern Scotland.
