Knights entertain, teach at Georgia Medieval Festival

Armored knights were one of the draws at the recent Medieval Festival, a fundraiser for the Oatland Island Wildlife Center near Savannah, Georgia. The activities included an armored combat demonstration, chainmail-making, Middle Eastern dancing and jugglers.

One popular activity for the kids was "Whack-a-Knight" which allowed children to drub the warriors with boffer weapons. The story, from the Savannah Morning News, includes photos.
