Giulietta da Venezia, Silver Buccle Herald for the Kingdom of AEthelmearc, announced that times have been set for Opening and Closing Ceremonies at the Pennsic War. Opening Ceremonies are scheduled for Sunday, August 10th at 11 a.m. on the Battlefield. Closing Ceremonies are scheduled for Friday, August 15th at 7 p.m. in the Barn. "We have been advised that it will be 'Great Court without the awards or gifts being given,'" said Giulietta. There was concern earlier in the year about the cancellation of Great Court leading to much discussion, but the Closing Ceremonies now seem to have taken the place of the Court.
