The leaves are falling, the air is getting colder; soon the Gates of Winter shall open once again. Come join in a day of revelry and feasting in Winter's Gate as we celebrate the autumn splendor and the coming of winter.
There will be an adultclass on Japanese Temari (Please RSVP by October 8th if you wish to take this class!! Just email the autocrat please). There will also be two kids' classes, one on Viking braids taught by Lady Gwyneth and one on Heraldry taught by Mistress Morgana. Kids of all ages are welcome :)
There are two competitions. The A&S contest is for period needlework and the Autocrat's whim is for the most period table setting with more points counted for an Italian style design.
Dinner will be held about 6:30 pm and is a potluck with several dishes being provided by the Barony. Please bring a dish to share that will feed at least 8 people. If there are multiple people in your party, please bring a lager share, or multiple dishes, Thank you! It is suggested that people try their hands at period dishes to bring to the event. If you would be interested and want a recipe or two to try, please contact Mistress Magda (firstname.lastname@example.org), Mistress Morgana (email@example.com), or Lady Veronica (firstname.lastname@example.org) for suggestions. There are lots of tasty and yet simple recipes out there, give one a try!
There is a kitchen, but it will be primarily used for the Baronial feast contributions. However, some space in the kitchen can be used for last minute prep and heating of potluck contributions. If you do need longer cooking time, please contact Mistress Magda (email@example.com) so that she may schedule space. There are also plenty of plug-ins for crock pots, etc.

From Eielson, merge right off the highway before the overpass, which should place you on Badger Road going the correct direction.
